We are finishing off the year with one last free motion quilting motif! I love feathers, they are versatile and work great on so many different designs. They can be super intimidating though! Especially when talking about traditional free motion feathers. It feels like things have to be perfect. If you want to sew feathers, but need more freedom, this is the perfect motif to jump in with.  My favorite part of these feathers is how forgiving they are. Petals aren't the same size? Perfect! We have had so much fun working with Michael Miller Fabrics this year as a brand ambassador! When we saw this fabric collection, we immediately knew what we wanted to do with it, and when we were asked if we wanted to play with minky as well, we gladly accepted! When Sherry shared her latest fabric collection we jumped on the opportunity to sew with it. Our absolute favorite place in the world is the beach and these batiks capture everything good about it!
